Born in 1998, Hangji offers services from turnkey projects to product solutions, to comprehensive lifecycle solutions for global steel plants. In the past 20 years, Hangji has provided hot rolling mills and related equipment to dozens of large steel mills such as Ansteel and Sinosteel.
Headquartered in Xi’an City, Hangji has more than 200 employees and covers more than 20,000 square meters.
Since 1998
In 1998, Mr. Zhang Wennian founded Xi’an Hangji Metallurgical Power Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., following a successful career with Xi’an Aero Engine Company. Hangji transformed from a single processing enterprise into a comprehensive one integrating research and development, production, and services. Mr. Zhang was also the first to introduce advanced metallurgical technologies from Western countries to China.
In 2006, Xi’an Weikeduo Electrical And Mechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. was established, succeeding the Hangji brand under Mr. Zhang’s leadership as the chairman.
