Characteristics of cantilever pre-finishing mill

(1) The unit layout is compact, the equipment structure is simple, the weight is light, the roll change cycle is short and the maintenance workload is small.

(2) The vertical rolling mill changes from the lower drive to the side drive through a pair of spiral bevel gears, and is pulled horizontally, similar to the horizontal rolling mill. Its advantages are that the distance between the foundation elevation and the rolling line is small, the foundation workload is small, and the installation, overhaul and maintenance are convenient.

(3) The roll box is a forged panel plug-in structure, which is convenient for loading and unloading, reduces equipment quality, improves installation accuracy, reduces piping on the panel, and is convenient for handling accidents.

(4) The new roll neck seal is adopted, and an eccentric plate is added at the seal to make the center of the seal ring always coincide with the center of the roll shaft, reducing the wear of the seal ring and extending the service life of the seal ring.

(5) The eccentric sleeve type adjustment mechanism is adopted for roll gap adjustment. The eccentric sleeve is rotated by the lead screw and nut to move the roll shaft symmetrically, so as to adjust the roll gap and keep the rolling center line unchanged.

V-shaped top crossing pre-finishing mill

The roll box structure, sealing method and roll gap adjustment mechanism of the V-shaped top-crossing pre-finishing mill are the same as those of the cantilever roll mill.

Other features are:

(1) The two racks are a group, driven by an AC motor through a variable speed gear box. The unit layout is compact, the equipment structure is simple, the weight is light, the roll change cycle is short, and the maintenance workload is small. There is no looper between the two racks.

(2) V-shaped top crossing arrangement can eliminate the torsion of rolled pieces between stands: low center of gravity, good stability and small vibration of stands can meet the requirements of higher rolling speed.
