Weighing more than 30 tons, this RSM features a Vee top-crossing no-twist structure adjusting the roll gap through the symmetry between the eccentric sleeve and the rolling line. To enhance flexibility in pass design, increase yield rates, and reduce the number of motors, we’ve implemented “one-to-one” transmission structure. We set up 2 gearboxes to accommodate common specification products, and designed short transmission chains to minimize energy consumption.
The split design of the roll box ensures easy operation and maintenance of the shaft system and equipment, keeping production, maintenance, and operating costs low.
The speed ratio can be changed according to the customer’s requirements. The Φ330 RSM meet the reqirements for rolling Φ12-Φ32 round steel above 780°C, ensuring that the actual rolling speed will be up to 36m/s.
