Shearing equipment

Shearing equipment includes flying shear, Broken shear, Side looper (before finishing rolling), snap shear, switch, etc.

Flying shear

The flying shear is composed of a transmission device, a shear base and upper and lower cutter shafts. The upper knife shaft end is equipped with a photoelectric encoder, which is used to control the starting position of the cutting edge of the flying shear in the cutting process. The flying shear is located behind the conveying guide groove to cut and break the rolled piece.

Broken shear

The breaking shear is composed of a motor, a shear frame, a base, a pinch roller and a knife rest. It is located behind the switch and is used to break the rolled piece after flying shear of the cutting head and fall into the chute of the waste collection device in case of an accident on the rolling line.

Side looper
(before finishing rolling)

The side looper is located in front of the finishing mill to realize tension free rolling between the pre finishing mill and the finishing mill. The number of side loopers is one.

The side looper is a pneumatic horizontal looper, and the looper scanner controls the amount of looper.

Working lifting capacity: 150-650mm

Control mode: looper scanner controls the amount of looping, and air cylinder controls the lifting roller

Main structure: looper frame, lifting roller, air cylinder, air valve and pneumatic triplet

Snap shear

The snap shear is composed of a base, a shear body and a cylinder, and is located at the entrance of pre finishing rolling and finishing rolling. It is used to cut off or prevent incoming materials from entering the pre finishing mill and finishing mill in case of accidents during rolling.

Switch

The switch is composed of body, bracket and air cylinder.
The switch is located behind the cutting head flying shear and is used to guide the rolled pieces to the finishing mill and the waste materials to the breaking shear.
