Pinch roll use
The pinch roll is arranged after the water cooling device of the finishing mill. It is used to grip the rolled piece and feed it into the wire discharger. Afterwards, the wire discharger transforms the rolling piece into helical coils with a diameter of 1080mm in a circular motion. The coils finally fall into the scattered coil cooling conveyor.

Structure
The pinch roll is a horizontal cantilever roller structure, driven by two rollers, and the cylinder controls the upper and lower rollers to clamp simultaneously. It is driven by a DC speed regulating motor through a two-stage cylindrical gear.
The two pinch roll shafts are respectively installed on two swing arms, driven by a cylinder through a set of crank linkage mechanism, so that the pinch rolls move closer to or away from the rolling line at the same time, and can clamp or loosen the rolled piece . In order to prevent the wire from being clamped flat, the clamping force can be adjusted. There is an adjustable limit device to adjust the maximum opening of the pinch roll and the minimum center distance between the two rollers to ensure that the two rollers do not collide.
The pinch roll box is welded structure, the gears and bearings are lubricated with thin oil, and the pinch roll shaft adopts oil film bearings and high-speed rolling thrust bearings. During normal operation, it run for a long time, and their speed is set according to the requirements of the rolling process. It clamps the wire at the head, tail or the whole process according to the process requirements.
